Authors Donate Signed Copy of Broomsticks to Lions Club Auction

Sean McHugh and Katie McHugh Parker have donated a signed copy of Broomsticks to the 61st Annual Maysville, Kentucky Lions Club Radio Auction on WFTM radio. The auction will begin on Monday, April 4th - Saturday, April 9th beginning at 6:30 each night. The event benefits more than 25 nonprofit and community groups including a Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation , Kentucky Lions Youth Camps for Visually Impaired Youth.

BROOMSTICKS Artwork Featured in Museum Exhibit

The Kentucky Gateway Museum in Maysville, Kentucky has a new exhibit entitled FROM CRAYONS TO CARTOONS. Artwork from Herb Block, John Mulcahy, John VanMeter, and Broomsticks illustrator, Sean McHugh will be on display until April 24, 2011. Original artwork from Broomsticks the book, and the comic strip from which the book was based on will be included in the exhibit.
