"Broomsticks" Author speaks at Book Club Luncheon

Katie McHugh Parker, co-author of "Broomsticks" was the guest speaker at the Ladies' Book Club Luncheon held at the Maysville Country Club in Maysville, Kentucky on Friday, May 28th, 2010.

Katie spoke about the develpment of the characters, storylines, and also read an excerpt from "Broomsticks." This was Katie's first speaking engagement as a children's book author and, by the reaction of the crowd, it was a tremendous success!
